1 jar Alfredo sauce
1/2 box of penne pasta
1- 1 1/2 cups of shredded chicken
1/4 cup butter
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 garlic clove minced
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 lemon, squeezed
1/2 cup mozzarella
Reserved 1/2 cup of pasta water
Preheat oven to 350. Cook pasta according to instructions on box, just to al dente. It will cook more in the oven.
Melt butter in a pan and add minced garlic. When butter is almost melted, add Alfredo sauce. Use about a Tablespoon of the pasta water to clean all out of the jar. Add Italian seasoning, garlic powder, lemon juice and parmesan cheese. Heat until the cheese is melted.
Make the casserole...spread a little of the Alfredo sauce in a 9x9 dish. Top with half the chicken and half the pasta. Pour 2nd third of the sauce over the pasta and repeat checken and pasta. Add mozarella over the top and pour the rest of the Alfredo sauce over everything. Pour 1/4 of pasta water over the top. Cover with foil. Cook 30 minutes. Enjoy!
